These are not your ordinary go-karts.  Pitt Race offers open rentals to the public on our .82 mile Wilson Circuit. A GX 270cc Honda 4-stroke Engine that makes 9.5 horsepower powers the karts. Their rental karts can reach speeds up to 45 mph.

Each session will last for 10 minutes.  Ten minutes in one of their karts is a lot! It’s a workout! Drivers must have closed toed shoes and pants or shorts (no skirts or dresses) to enter the track. All other equipment that you need will be provided. This includes the required helmet, neck brace, and jacket. Gloves are optional.

AROC Virtual Racing
We will be holding a Virtual Race for AROC members.  You will rent as many sessions as you would like from the track and they will keep track of AROC members.  The score will be tallied and awards will be presented Friday Night at the Welcome Reception and Strolling Dinner.

After the session, cars will drive the track in pre-arranged groups according to vehicle powerplant and driver experience.  Cars will take their laps following in single file behind a pace car driven by an experienced driver, familiar with the concepts presented.

Parade Laps may be taken in any street legal car, Alfa Romeo or non-Alfa Romeo, as well as in any race-prepared vehicle entered in the Time Trials or Autocross.  Rental cars are OK to bring.  The Parade Lap track speed limit of 45 mph will be strictly observed and enforced at all times.
