Today is your chance to explore the back roads of Western Pennsylvania..  The Gimmick Rally is presented by the NE Ohio Alfa Romeo Club!  It starts in the parking lot of the host hotel and meanders through some incredible scenery until you stop for lunch at Moraine State Park  where you will learn about the history of the Jeep and it's invention just a few miles from your lunch spot.

For those not participating in the Rally, you can sign up to test drive a new Alfa Romeo or a new Ferrari.  Test Drives start right under the canopy of the Doubletree Hilton. 

When the rally finsihes up, you can clean up your car at the Meguiar's sponsored car wash before heading down to the Welcome Dinner at The Pittsburgh Golf Club where you will be met by some of the Alfa Romeo Car Drivers and their cars that are competing at the PVGP this weekend.

Gimmick Rally

The Gimmick Rally is a fun, no pressure tour of the surrounding country roads.  This is NOT a timed event and you are encouraged to explore the two state parks along the route, enjoy lunch, and listen to the presentations.
$30/Car: (No limit on number of passengers)
$20 for Lunch pass only at Moraine State Park

Midpoint at the Rally during our lunch, you will be greeted by a Jeep display.  Butler County is the birthplace of the Jeep!
Gimmick Rally
9am - 4pm
  • 8:00am Friday Gimmick Rally Volunteer Meeting at Registration Room
  • 8:30am - Rally cars can begin staging in the parking lot at the DoubleTree Hilton. 
  • 9:30am - MANDATORY Drivers Meeting
  • 10am - Rally Cars will be released in 60 second intervals
  • The Rally is about a 90 minute drive in total.
  • Lunch at Moraine State Park, McDanels Pavilion

Registration will open soon to schedule test drives with Ron Lewis Alfa Romeo,  Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia

Test Drives will stage under the canopy of the Doubletree Hilton. Registration will open by June 10, 2019

Car Wash & Shine

Car Wash

Location: Doubletree Hilton ~ behind building.
Will feature both wet and dry washes.

Alfa Romeo Welcome Dinner Reception

$40/ person. 
Children under 12 are FREE.

If you are displaying your car on the showfield on Saturday & Sunday, when you arrive we will stage your vehicle and deliver all of the necessary items you need for the remainder of the weekend,  including dashcards and Cortile goody bags.
6pm - 9pm: Cash Bar &  Race Car Display on showfield

7pm - 7:15pm:  Trackday Experience Awards presentation:
  • Karting Virtual Race: 1st, 2nd, 3rd (3 awards)
  • Autocross: 1st, 2nd, 3rd per category (12 awards)
  • Time Trails: 1st, 2nd, 3rd per category (12 awards)
 
7pm - 9pm: Strolling Dinner
Special NOTE:  A Strolling dinner will begin at 7pm.  A strolling dinner is a variety of delicious courses that will be brought out by servers as you are mingling throughout the facility and balcony of the club. 

There are tables to sit and mingle. A strolling dinner encourages you to look around and explore while the food is brought to you!

Alfa Romeo Racing teams are invited to joins us for dinner so you can preview and get to know the cars and drivers on the track.
