Thursday Pitt Race Parade Lap
Parade Laps start at 'approximately' Noon
For this AROC experience, all drivers and passengers will gather to hear an explanation about the track and how racers typically drive on it. Attendees will understand what the red and white markings are for, what is an apex, what is the line, and what is meant when someone says, “you must slow down to go faster”.
After the session, cars will drive the track in pre-arranged groups according to vehicle powerplant and driver experience. Cars will take their laps following in single file behind a pace car driven by an experienced driver, familiar with the concepts presented.
Parade Laps may be taken in any street legal car, Alfa Romeo or non-Alfa Romeo, as well as in any race-prepared vehicle entered in the Time Trials or Autocross. Rental cars are OK to bring. The Parade Lap track speed limit of 45 mph will be strictly observed and enforced at all times.
