Wednesday Downtown Parade

We start the morning off with an Alfa Romeo parade into the City of Pittsburgh. We will be part of the PVGP Downtown Parade but we will have our own unique parking area at The Point.
Staging: Gateway Clipper Parking Lot
Parade Cost: $10/car
Arrive by 8:30 ~9am
Parade Starts at 10am
An Autocross event for novice and experienced drivers, ready to go against the clock competitively, or for those tuning their vehicles for a competitive SCCA style event. This provides a dynamic and fun atmosphere to all levels of drivers.
Coned, 6 acre vehicle dynamics area. These events will put your car control skills to the test, as well as your car dynamics set up. Autocross is open to both fully race prepared and stock configuration vehicles.
Quickest person around the course wins, while cones hit and course missed add to your time. Cars are broken down into their groups. The awards presentation for 1st through 3rd place, within each group, as well as an award for Fastest Time of Day will be presented on Friday Night at the Welcome Reception and strolling dinner. Please keep in mind that there is a minimum number of cars required per group in order for three awards to be given.
Wednesday Downtown Car Show

The Alfa Romeo Owner's Club will have it's OWN car show location at Point State Park.
At Point State Park you will be able to take a self guided tour the Fort Pitt Museum and historic block house. The Fort Pitt Museum celebrates its 50th year in 2019.
You can check out the locations of Fort Pitt and its predecessor Fort Duquesne right at the headwaters of the Ohio River. Please reserve your space now as this show is limited to 40 show cars.
Wednesday Just Ducky Tours
Location: Wyndom Grand Hotel/Point State Park
Time: ~ 11:30am - 1:15pm
Cost: $35 /person (Min of 30 people per boat)
Just Ducky Tours is Pittsburgh’s only fully-narrated one hour land and water adventure! The excursion waddles through town then splashing into the river for the ride of your life in an authentic WWII amphibious vehicle. Along the way, you'll see the sights and sounds of our great city, and its important role in history.
Thursday AROC Virtual Racing / Competitive Karting
AROC Virtual Racing
This is the registration for the Virtual Race for AROC members. You will rent as many sessions as you would like from the track when you arrive and they will keep track of AROC members. The score will be tallied and awards will be presented Saturday Night at the banquet.
Pitt Race Kart Rental is NOT included with your registration. You will need to rent karts on-site. Kart rental prices are:
$25 per Session
$45 for 2 Sessions
$65 for 3 Sessions
Each session will last for 10 minutes. Ten minutes in one of their karts is a lot! It’s a workout! Drivers must have closed toed shoes and pants or shorts (no skirts or dresses) to enter the track. All other equipment that you need will be provided. This includes the required helmet, neck brace, and jacket. Gloves are optional.
Trackday Experience / Time Trials
8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Track is open 7 am – 8 pm, but cars may only be on the track 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Track is a 20- minute drive from the Convention Hotel.
- $270 per Driver
- $25 Transponder rental (We will contact you to discuss requirements after you register)
Traditional Time Trials format, with practice sessions and the TT runs as the last session of the day. Drivers Meeting is mandatory.
The Time Trials is open to drivers of all levels, from experienced to novice. Drivers will be contacted when they sign up for this event. Open to fully race prepared cars, as well as and stock, normal street cars. Non-Alfa Romeos are also welcomed.
All AROC classes and rules apply, per the AROC Moving Event Code and AROC Competition Class Calculator. (Both are on the website www.aroc-usa.org, in the AROC Library section as well as at the bottom of this page)
All AROC safety requirements will be in effect.
Awards according to classes with an overall FTD (fastest time of day), as well. Awards will be presented Friday Night at the Welcome Reception and Strolling Dinner.
Time Trial drivers who are also partaking in the Autocross will be identified and grouped so that they will have ample time to take their Autocross runs.
Registration for this event must be completed by Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Thursday Pitt Race Parade Lap
Parade Laps start at 'approximately' Noon
For this AROC experience, all drivers and passengers will gather to hear an explanation about the track and how racers typically drive on it. Attendees will understand what the red and white markings are for, what is an apex, what is the line, and what is meant when someone says, “you must slow down to go faster”.
After the session, cars will drive the track in pre-arranged groups according to vehicle powerplant and driver experience. Cars will take their laps following in single file behind a pace car driven by an experienced driver, familiar with the concepts presented.
Parade Laps may be taken in any street legal car, Alfa Romeo or non-Alfa Romeo, as well as in any race-prepared vehicle entered in the Time Trials or Autocross. Rental cars are OK to bring. The Parade Lap track speed limit of 45 mph will be strictly observed and enforced at all times.

Friday Gimmick Rally
9am - 4pm
The Rally will begin staging at 8:30 am in the parking lot at the DoubleTree Hilton.
Cars will be released in 60 second intervals starting at 10am.
The Rally is about an 90 minute drive with some special plans midway through the course.

Time: 6pm - 9pm
Cash bar mix & mingle starts at 6pm. Strolling dinner will begin at 7pm. A strolling dinner is a variety of courses that will be brought out by servers as you are mingling thoughout the facility and balcony.
When you arrive we will stage your vehicle and delivery all of the necessary items you need for the rest of the weekend including dashcards and Cortile goody bags.
$40/ person. Children under 12 are FREE.
